Tammy has always loved surfing on the internet. She had been surfing the net since twelve years old. She had taken a course on web site design when she was in high school. Having completed schooling, she decided to pursue a job on her interest.
Tammy posted job applications on the internet. She had done searches on the internet and was pleased with the prospects and income a web site designer has. It would be great to be able to hold a job which is also her interest. Life would be a bliss.
With a few years of blogging to boost her capability, something that she had painstakingly maintained, Tammy has a ready tool for advertising on-line to look for her job. She was certain employment should come within a few days.
The next few days, Tammy continued surfing the internet for job openings. She also opened her emails regularly. True enough, her advertising on-line did wonders. There were many job vacancies for her in her email. However, the pay didn't reach her expectation.
It was on the fourth day that one of the mails caught her attention. It stated that they were attracted by her capability from her advertising on-line. They wanted to employ her as a web site designer, offering her a monthly pay of five thousand dollars. It was above her expected salary.
Tammy jumped with joy at the prospect. She was thrilled that such an opportunity has knocked on her door. Eagerly, she filled in all her particulars, including her bank account details and password as they said it was needed to send payment to her.
Just as she was about to send in her reply, a negative thought suddenly came to her mind. " What if this is a spam?" Being a regular user of the internet, she knew there were lots of con-men, and spam is something anyone using the internet is sure to receive. One just cannot be too careless, especially if bank account is involved.
Tammy did a search at the site for spam. She saw that many had fallen victim to this ploy and had lost their savings. One mustn't be too eager to jump at opportunities that are overly good. It always pays to be careful. Luckily, Tammy has not pressed the reply button.
