On my last visit to the local internet cafe the connection was very slow. It was definitelynot worth the two hours I waited for a free hookup. All customers of this particular internet cafe are only aloud an hour a day and by the time I had finished sorting through all my junk email I barely had any time to work on my new web design. I work for a design service for the web and I work from home mostly because it is more convenient for my family life. It's very rare when I get a chance to leave my kids at home with my husband so I can go to an internet cafe and indulgein a nice expensive coffee while working. It's the only treat I allow myself. I can never really work from home anymore because my connection is too slow and now for some odd reason the connection at the cafe seems slow although it never did before. The internet was always fast and when I asked the manager he said that they had to get a cheaper internet service because they had to add more internet plugs. The extra plugs cost alot of money, moneythat they did not have available to them. Internet is becoming so much more complicated lately and so much more expensive I don't know how alot of people are going to be able to keep internet in their homes.

Sometimes it seems like a good idea to me, internet being less available. I mean there are so many ways to get your identity stolen and be hassled by things like email. There is so much junk email nowadays and its is nearly impossible to tell what is junk email from whats your real email because they make it more personalized, like you'll find your name on one. It is starting to feel like cyberstalking and no one seems to think there is a reason to stand up and tell these people that enough is enough. That we are sick of hassles to join websites and pay for daily updates on weather. I mean if I want to know the weather, I could just look outside my window.
